I Love Autumn

I love the weather.  I love the crunchy leaves.  I love the colors.  I love the produce.  Swoon.  Here's what' in our house right now:

Dry Storage:  sweet onions, shallots, garlic, garnet yams, purple potatoes, red bliss potatoes, delicata squash, acorn squash, ambercup squash, sugar pumpkin, and the ugliest squash I've ever seen (not to be found anywhere on the internet!)
Do you know me?

Vegetables:  red cabbage, green cabbage, white cauliflower, orange cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, carrots, parsnip, rutabaga, scallions, leek (no joke - it's 3' long), orange peppers, celery, cucumber, crimini mushrooms, chanterelle mushrooms, button mushrooms, lacinato kale, Russian kale, spinach, Swiss chard, arugula, frisee, red beets, golden beets, ginger, dill, parsley, chives, lemon thyme

Fruits: kiwi, red grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes, clementines, red grapes, bananas, cranberries, bosc pears, pomegranate, peaches, quince, plum tomatoes, cherry tomatoes (still from my front yard - that bush won't quit!)

Apples: mustu, jonagold, honey crisp (1.5 pound - bigger than the pomegranate), ambrosia, white pinter pearmain, spitzenberg, sweet orin

Life is very, very good.
